Industrial Water Treatment Project Manager

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our Pacific Northwest team. We are looking for self-motivated candidates with a solid work ethic, networking skills, attention to detail, technological savvy, and an innovative problem solver. The positions require candidates who can work well as part of a team, stay on task while working alone, and able to learn the technical aspects and applications of our technologies and service offerings.

Location: Pacific Northwest – Pacific, WA Office

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $85,750.00 – $125,575.00 per year

Job Description: Successful candidates will have an industrial project/construction work background with a mechanical aptitude to combine with experience and expertise in the following:

  • Business Development
  • Marketing / Networking
  • Estimating & Proposal Development
  • Water treatment
  • Microsoft Business Suite
  • CAD or 3D drawing software
  • Industrial Systems Maintenance
  • Writing- Business Memos and project submittals
  • Industrial and/or Construction OSHA requirements
  • Root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Process and Flow Design with the ability to interpret P&IDs

Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA or equivalent in project/construction management or 3 years’ experience serving as a Project Manager.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate with clients (both written and verbal)
  • Management and Organizational skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Clean driving record & Drug free.
  • Employment may require travel, weekend shifts, and night shifts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Industrial Stormwater Support:

  • Develop new business through marketing and networking activities in industry trade groups, regional conferences/trade shows, and responses to request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Engage prospective clients with site visits, technical presentations, and other marketing activities.
  • Develop proposals to include a scope of work and budget estimate to meet a client’s need or in response to an RFP.
  • Develops project objectives consistent with project proposals and plans, conferring with Sales Team, Assembly & Fabrication Team, and Management
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases, producing a project schedule, synchronizing adjacent project requirements, and assigning resources.
  • Oversee project procurement while comparing vendor bids and insuring vendor specifications meet the designed build.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resources. Identifying plausible friction points and resolving issues.
  • Controls project plan and cost while ensuring quality and specifications.
  • Coordinates and Controls key stakeholders.
  • Prepares project submittals; communicates design and specifications, summarizing project status; responding to requests for information, and submitting requests for information.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications and reviewing best practices.
  • Ensures client job site requirements and OSHA requirements are met.
  • Contributes to the team by accomplishing tasks and obtaining desired results as needed.

Industrial System Operations and Maintenance:

  • Responsible for the transition between the project completion and closeout phase to the Operations and Maintenance steady state.
  • Assists in developing and updating O&M Manuals, proposals, and forms.
  • Aids in T&M modifications to existing Industrial Sites and Long-Term
  • Maintenance Plans.
  • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Contributes to the team by accomplishing tasks and obtaining desired results as needed.
