In San Francisco, R&L Brossamer was contracted to construct the Doyle Drive realignment using a cut and cover tunnel approach and demolition of an existing elevated roadway for Caltrans. Dust concerns during demolition necessitated large amounts of dust control water to be used in addition to the normal storm water concerns.
Clear Creek mobilized two 600 gpm Active Treatment Systems under the CA General Construction NPDES permit. Each system was comprised of treatment tanks, a Compliance and Control monitoring module, a sand filter system and hydrocarbon treatment system. Clear Creek provided installation and operation of each system.
